Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. cooked tomatoes or tomato juice
- 2 medium raw carrots, diced
- 2 c. cubed raw potatoes
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. uncooked rice
- 1 1/2 qt. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Method
- Brown meat and onion slightly in butter.
- Add rest of ingredients in large kettle and simmer slowly 3/4 to 1 hour.
