Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 4 to 5 medium potatoes
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 medium onion
  • cabbage, shredded
  • margarine
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Place ground beef in glass 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Pat down until bottom is covered.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Slice potatoes thin on top of beef.
  • Next, slice carrots on top of potatoes, then onion.
  • Add shredded cabbage to cover top and place pats of margarine over mixture.
  • Cover with foil.
  • A can of cream of mushroom soup makes a more delicious dish.
