Ingredients
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 lb. ground beef
- salt and pepper
- 1 can garden peas
- 1 can tomato soup (medium)
- 5 medium potatoes
- 1/2 c. warm milk
- 1 beaten egg
Method
- Cook onion in hot fat until golden.
- Add meat and seasonings. Brown.
- Add drained beans and soup.
- Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Mash potatoes.
- Add milk, egg and seasoning.
- Spoon mounds of potatoes over meat.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
