Ingredients

  • 2 chickens
  • 5 lb. pork roast or beef
  • 40 oz. ketchup
  • 4 Tbsp. black pepper
  • 3 cans tomatoes
  • 10 oz. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 or 4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 2 cans lima beans
  • 3 cans cream-style corn
  • 2 cans kernel corn
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 4 large onions
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice concentrate
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 can English peas

Method

  • Cook chickens and roast until done.
  • Grind chickens and lean meat.
  • Grind onions and potatoes.
  • Set meat aside.
  • Combine onions, potatoes, beans and tomatoes.
  • Cook for 1 hour.
  • Add kernel corn, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice and pepper.
  • Cook and simmer 30 minutes.
  • Add cream-style corn and meat.
  • Simmer for at least 1 hour, stirring regularly.
