Ingredients
- 1 lb. bacon, browned and crumbled
- 1/2 c. bacon drippings
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 2 c. water
- 6 c. cornbread crumbs
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. pepper
- 2 c. broth (chicken or turkey)
Method
- Combine all ingredients.
- Toss well.
- (Mixture should be very moist.
- More water can be added if needed).
- Cook in a 13 x 9-inch pan or baking dish for 30 to 40 minutes (until browned slightly on top) at 350°.
