Ingredients
- 1 head shredded cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 lb. cooked ground beef
Method
- In a large saucepan, cook cabbage in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Drain, reserving liquid.
- Add butter, salt, rice, onion and egg to cabbage; mix thoroughly.
- Place layer of cabbage in casserole.
- Then a layer of ground beef.
- Repeat layers.
