Ingredients
- squash or zucchini
- vegetable oil
- cornmeal
- salt
- pepper
Method
- Wash and cut off ends of squash or zucchini; slice lengthwise, making slices about 1/8-inch thick.
- Rub lightly with vegetable oil.
- Roll in cornmeal (this will be a light coating).
- Place on a hot grill; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Also use other seasonings, if desired.
- Cook until soft to the touch.
- The amount you prepare will depend on size of squash and number of people being served.
