Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound green onion sausages, or other fresh sausages
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup cherry marmalade or preserves
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 pound fresh triple cream cheese
  • Toasted baguette slices

Method

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or preheat broiler.
  • Grill sausages until just cooked through, turning occasionally, about 12 minutes (or until cooked through, 170 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer.)
  • Meanwhile melt butter in a small saucepan.
  • Add the cherry marmalade and Dijon mustard and stir to combine.
  • Simmer until mixture comes together, about 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve warm or at room temperature with the sausage.
  • To serve, slice sausage into bite-size pieces and serve on a platter with sauce, cheese and toast.
