Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sirloin or tenderloin steak, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 3 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2/3 C. water
  • 1 small can mushrooms or cut up fresh mushrooms.
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • Add:
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 2 T. flour
  • Egg noodles or rice

Method

  • Cook noodles or rice as pkg. directions.
  • Brown steak in skillet to desired doneness.
  • Heat in small saucepan water and onion soup mix. Add mushrooms.
  • Add 1 C. sour cream and 2 T. flour and mix well. Add the meat.
  • Serve meat mixture over cooked rice.
