Ingredients

  • 6 to 7 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can tomatoes (if stewed, don't need the green pepper)
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • dash of dry mustard
  • 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cans green beans

Method

  • Brown bacon and crumble.
  • Brown onion and green pepper.
  • Add flour, then stir in tomatoes.
  • Add brown sugar, vinegar, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Cook for 1/2 hour.
  • Add green beans.
  • Put in heated casserole.
  • Heat 5 to 10 minutes at 375°. Put crumbled bacon on top before serving.
