Ingredients

  • 2 (1 lb.) cans green beans
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Swiss cheese, slices
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can Durkee French fried onions

Method

  • Heat green beans thoroughly and drain.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter.
  • Add Swiss cheese slices and stir to melt over low heat.
  • Be careful not to scorch. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
  • Pour over green beans and mix well.
  • Put into casserole dish and top with French fried onions.
  • Bake at 400° until bubbly.
