Ingredients
- 2 (1 lb.) cans green beans
- 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Swiss cheese, slices
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can Durkee French fried onions
Method
- Heat green beans thoroughly and drain.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter.
- Add Swiss cheese slices and stir to melt over low heat.
- Be careful not to scorch. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Pour over green beans and mix well.
- Put into casserole dish and top with French fried onions.
- Bake at 400° until bubbly.
