Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 3 cans French-cut green beans, drained
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • paprika

Method

  • In a large skillet, saute onion in margarine until lightly browned. Add flour, blending well.
  • Add sour cream and heat over low heat, stirring until mixture thickens slightly.
  • Add green beans, salt and pepper.
  • Pour into 10-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle top with cheese and paprika.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
