Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 stick soft oleo
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 or 2 green onions, chopped
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1/2 small can ripe olives, chopped

Method

  • Blend together oleo and mayonnaise.
  • Add rest of ingredients and blend.
  • Split a loaf of bread lengthwise and spread mixture equally on both sides.
  • Close bread and rewrap.
  • Refrigerate for 24 hours. You can reopen bread and distribute mixture again before baking if you like.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a 350° oven. This can be frozen.
