Ingredients
- 9-inch pie shell
- 4 c. strawberries
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 oz. strawberry gelatin
- whipped cream
Method
- Bake
- 9-inch pie shell until brown. Let cool.
- Wash and slice
- strawberries.
- Place in cool pie shell.
- In saucepan,
- mix water, sugar and cornstarch.
- Cook over medium heat while stirring.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and cook until mixture
- is
- clear.
- Then add strawberry gelatin.
- Pour over strawberries
- in
- pie
- shell.
- Chill.
- Add whipped cream when ready to serve.
- Makes 1 pie.
