Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 small egg
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. cardamon (ground)
- 2 c. chopped almonds
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Beat in egg.
- Add flour, baking powder and cardamon.
- Work in almonds.
- Shape into long rolls about 2-inches in diameter.
- Chill.
- Using serrated knife, cut in slices 1/4-inch.
- Set on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Will keep a month in a sealed can.
