Ingredients
- juice of 1 orange
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
Method
- Melt butter in top of double boiler.
- Add fruit juices and sugar.
- Slightly beat egg yolks.
- Add to mixture in double boiler. Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly.
- Cool.
- Fold in whipped cream just before serving.
- This makes a very good dressing for fresh fruit.
