Ingredients
- 3 lbs red potatoes
- 3 slices bacon, diced
- 14 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 14 tablespoons sugar
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 23 cup vinegar
- 13 cup water
Method
- Simmer potatoes in jackets until tender; peel and slice thin.
- Fry bacon until crisp; add onion and cook 1 minute.
- Blend in flour, salt, sugar and pepper.
- Stir in vinegar and water.
- Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour bacon mixture over warm potatoes.
- Serve warm.
