Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 c. cooked chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. water chestnuts or celery
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 roll Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. poppy seed

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • In large bowl, mix soups and sour cream together.
  • Add chicken, water chestnuts and onions; mix well.
  • Pour into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  • Stir crackers into butter and spread over casserole.
  • Sprinkle top with poppy seed. Bake for 30 minutes.
