Ingredients
- 1 jar (11 Oz. Jar) Jalapenos (Like Embasa Nacho Sliced Jalapenos)
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 2 whole Eggs, Beaten
- 23 cups Corn Meal
- 1/2 cups Canola Oil Or Any Vegetable Oil, For Frying
Method
- Drain your jalapenos and place them in a small bowl.
- Your flour, milk, eggs, and corn meal also need to be in their own bowls.
- Prepare oil by pouring about a 1/2 inch into your pan.
- Heat on medium heat.
- While your oil is heating up, prepare your jalapeno slices.
- Dip jalapeno slices in milk, then flour, then eggs, then cornmeal.
- In the pan, place batter-covered jalapenos in the oil.
- Be careful, the oil may pop back (this always gets me and it does not feel too good).
- Fry for 1-2 minutes on each side or until brown.
- After theyre done, remove and place on a paper towel to drain.
- Dipping sauces: nacho cheese, salsa, hot sauce, guacamole, sour cream.
- Enjoy!
