Ingredients
- 3 green tomatoes, sliced thin
- 1 c. milk or buttermilk
- 1 c. corn meal
- pepper and salt (season)
- oil or margarine
Method
- Slice
- green
- tomatoes into thin slices.
- Dip in 1 cup milk or buttermilk, then dip into corn meal.
- Season to taste. Fry until brown on both sides in small amount of vegetable oil and margarine on medium heat.
- Serve warm.
