Ingredients
- 6 to 12 ears fresh corn
- 1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. green and red bell pepper, chopped
- 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp or bacon bits (optional)
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- water
- oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Cut off tips of corn kernels into a large bowl.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle flour over the corn and mix well.
- Set aside. Chop peppers and set aside.
- Fry bacon until crisp; drain.
- Heat oil enough to cover bottom of a 10-inch skillet.
- Add the butter and margarine and melt over medium heat.
- Add corn; stir.
