Ingredients
- 2 heads fresh broccoli
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1/4 c. grated carrots
- 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
Method
- Chop broccoli into small pieces and mix with raisins, pecans, onions, water chestnuts and carrots.
- Mix the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar to make a dressing.
- Pour over the broccoli mixture and toss well.
- Top with crumbled bacon.
- Refrigerate and marinate several hours before serving.
