Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 5 c. flour
Method
- Add yeast, sugar and salt to warm water.
- Mix Crisco with 1/2 the flour and all milk until mealy, then add yeast mixture.
- Add rest of flour; let rise in greased pan until double.
- Roll out in long rolls; brush with milk.
- Let rise again, then bake at 400° for about 30 minutes.
