Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. chicken drumsticks
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 2 or 3 potatoes, cut up small
  • cooking oil
  • 2 medium onion
  • minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 3 tsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 tsp. red pepper

Method

  • De-skin and
  • wash
  • chicken.
  • Peel
  • potatoes and cut up. Pour enough oil to cover bottom of a large (6 quart) saucepan. Place onions
  • and
  • garlic
  • in
  • oil
  • and cook until soft. Add tomatoes and
  • all
  • other
  • spices.
  • Let it cook to form a thick sauce.
  • Add chicken
  • and
  • potatoes after sauce has thickened. Cook on
  • medium heat.
  • Add 1 cup of water.
  • Cook 55 minutes. Stir frequently. Serve with white rice and pita bread.
