- 3 pkg. chicken drumsticks
- 1 can tomatoes
- 2 or 3 potatoes, cut up small
- cooking oil
- 2 medium onion
- minced garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 3 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. red pepper
Method
- De-skin and
- wash
- chicken.
- Peel
- potatoes and cut up. Pour enough oil to cover bottom of a large (6 quart) saucepan. Place onions
- and
- garlic
- in
- oil
- and cook until soft. Add tomatoes and
- all
- other
- spices.
- Let it cook to form a thick sauce.
- Add chicken
- and
- potatoes after sauce has thickened. Cook on
- medium heat.
- Add 1 cup of water.
- Cook 55 minutes. Stir frequently. Serve with white rice and pita bread.
