- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Method
- This pie can be
- made in a deep dish pottery pie plate. Make pastry for the
- bottom only.
- Spread half of the 4 ingredients on the
- unbaked
- pie
- crust.
- Next
- fill the crust with quartered apples.
- Add
- the rest of the sugar mixture and pour on 1/2 cup cream
- evenly.
- Bake on bottom shelf for 15 minutes at 450°, then move
- to
- the
- middle
- shelf
- and bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350°.
