Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 ounces chocolate
  • 1 pinch cream of tartar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup marshmallows chopped

Method

  • Heat all ingredients except for marshmallows in a medium saucepan until they simmer and eventually reach soft ball stage.
  • Remove from heat and beat, using an electric mixer, until creamy. Add marshmallows cut up. Pour into a buttered 8" square pan and allow to harden for at least 3 hours.
  • Use a knife to score the fudge into small squares, then slice along those lines.
