Ingredients
- 4 (2-inch) filets
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. butter
- 4 small onions, peeled and halved
- 1 c. red wine
Method
- Rub filets with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in heavy frying pan.
- Add steaks.
- Brown on both sides.
- Reduce heat to simmer. Add onions and wine.
- Cover skillet tightly.
- Simmer steaks 3 minutes.
