Ingredients

  • 8 bacon strips
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 3/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 5 to 6 drops hot pepper sauce

Method

  • Wrap 2 bacon strips around each chicken breast; place in a shallow baking dish and set aside.
  • In small mixing bowl, combine soy sauce and sugar; add remaining ingredients.
  • Pour over chicken; turn to coat evenly.
  • Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
  • Drain and reserve marinade.
  • Bake at 325° for 60 minutes or until chicken tests done, basting occasionally with marinade.
