Ingredients
- 1 c. oleo or butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Cream oleo and sugar together.
- Add eggs, one at a time, continuing to beat.
- Add sour cream and vanilla.
- Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture.
- Roll on floured canvas, fairly thick.
- Cut with large round cutter.
- Place on cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle with what you desire.
- Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes.
- These cookies should be large and soft.
- Chill the dough before rolling.
