- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 lb. ground veal or turkey
- 1 bell pepper
- 4 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp. oregano
- dash of Tabasco
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms
- 2 small cans tomato paste
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
- 1 level Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tsp. rosemary
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 c. dry red wine
Method
- Chop all ingredients as fine as possible.
- Cook meat in olive oil and butter until done, not browned.
- Add all other ingredients and simmer 3 to 4 hours.
