Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 c. water
- 3/4 tsp. celery salt
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. cooked rice (1 c. before cooking)
- 1 Tbsp. melted oleo
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 1 c. milk
Method
- Brown roast in hot oil and also in Dutch oven.
- Drain off drippings.
- Add water and seasonings.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cover and reduce heat; simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until roast is done.
