Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. ground pork loin
- 1/2 c. finely ground ham
- 2 raw eggs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 bread crumbs
- chopped sweet pickles
- 2 hard-cooked eggs
- 2 Vienna sausages, cut in half lengthwise
- chicken broth
Method
- Mix the first 5 ingredients on a piece of cheesecloth.
- Spread the mixture.
- Arrange sliced pickles, hard-cooked eggs and sausages on mixture.
- Roll into shape and wrap.
- Tie both ends. Sew or tie the opening.
- Cover with broth and simmer until done. Cool and unwrap before slicing.
- Serve with tomato sauce.
