Ingredients

  • 1 baked pie shell (can use frozen one)
  • 1/2 can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour (self-rising)
  • bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 c. grated coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • Cool Whip or whipped cream

Method

  • Cook the crushed pineapple, sugar and flour until thick. Slice bananas into cooled pie shell to line bottom.
  • Add to cooled pineapple mixture the grated coconut and chopped nuts.
  • Pour mixture over bananas in pie shell.
  • Let stand in refrigerator until cold.
  • Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream before serving.
