Ingredients
- 3 c. plain croutons
- 1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- pepper
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt
- ham or bacon pieces
Method
- Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Beat eggs; add milk, onion, salt, mustard and pepper.
- Put croutons in pan first, then cheese and mushrooms and add eggs last.
- Sprinkle with ham or bacon pieces. Put foil on top and refrigerate if doing ahead of time.
- Bake at 325° for 45 to 50 minutes.
