Ingredients

  • 1 large eggplant
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 long pkg. crackers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt, pepper and season to taste
  • extra crackers

Method

  • Get oblong bowl and butter it all in the bottom and sides.
  • Get a rolling pin and crumb crackers up, then spread half of them in the bottom of bowl.
  • Pour half of the ingredients in the bowl and spread the other half of the crackers on top.
  • Put the rest on top of the crackers, then sprinkle crumbs on top of the whole dish. Cover and cook at 350° for 30 minutes.
