Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. (6 oz.)semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 jar (7 1/2 oz.) Marshmallow Creme
  • 1/2 lb. pecan pieces
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tall can evaporated milk

Method

  • In a heavy 4 quart pan combine sugar, butter, salt and evaporated milk.
  • Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Increase heat to medium; continue cooking and stirring to soft ball stage.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Immediately add chocolate, Marshmallow Creme, pecans and vanilla.
  • Stir virgorously until chocolate pieces are melted.
  • When mixture begins to thicken turn into 12x7 1/2x2 inch pan.
