- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 2/3 c. milk
- 1/3 c. water
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. minced onion
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears
- 3 lb. asparagus
- 4 sliced hard-boiled eggs or 1 1/2 c. cooked ham
- 1 c. shredded cheese
Method
- In medium saucepan, melt butter. Add flour. Slowly add water and milk, cooking until thickened. Add salt, onion, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and mustard.
