Ingredients
- 3 to 4 large sweet onions
- 2 c. milk
- 3 eggs
- 4 to 5 c. flour
- salt
Method
- Cut onions into rings.
- Dip rings into the milk, then flour. Drain flour rings on paper towel.
- Beat eggs well and add 1 cup milk.
- Dip rings into this mixture.
- Dip rings back into flour again.
- Place on paper towel to dry.
- Fry 2 or 3 at a time at 375° and sprinkle with salt.
- May be made 3 hours ahead.
