Ingredients
- 3 c. frozen cut up broccoli
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 c. nonfat milk
- 2 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 c. hot water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. hot water
Method
- Chop 1 cup of the broccoli.
- Add onion and saute at medium heat, about 5 minutes.
- Put in blender and liquify; then return to pan and saute again for about 1 or 2 minutes.
- Add remaining broccoli, milk and dissolved bouillon cubes.
- Cook at low heat about 5 minutes, careful not to scorch.
- Then thicken with cornstarch and 1/2 cup water.
- Serve hot.
