Ingredients

  • 3 c. frozen cut up broccoli
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 c. nonfat milk
  • 2 bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 c. hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. hot water

Method

  • Chop 1 cup of the broccoli.
  • Add onion and saute at medium heat, about 5 minutes.
  • Put in blender and liquify; then return to pan and saute again for about 1 or 2 minutes.
  • Add remaining broccoli, milk and dissolved bouillon cubes.
  • Cook at low heat about 5 minutes, careful not to scorch.
  • Then thicken with cornstarch and 1/2 cup water.
  • Serve hot.
