Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh bean sprouts
  • 3/4 cup shredded carrot
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped banana pepper
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Method

  • Combine the first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl, tossing well. Combine the vinegar and remaining ingredients, stirring well with a whisk.
  • Pour the vinegar mixture over sprout mixture, tossing gently to coat. Cover and chill.
