Ingredients
- 1 box fluffy white frosting mix
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- In small mixer bowl, combine frosting mix, corn syrup, vanilla and boiling water.
- Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer to large mixer bowl.
- On low speed or by hand, blend in powdered sugar.
- Stir in chopped nuts.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
- When top side of candy feels firm, turn over and allow to dry 12 hours or overnight.
- Store in airtight container.
- Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
