Ingredients

  • 1 box fluffy white frosting mix
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • In small mixer bowl, combine frosting mix, corn syrup, vanilla and boiling water.
  • Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer to large mixer bowl.
  • On low speed or by hand, blend in powdered sugar.
  • Stir in chopped nuts.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
  • When top side of candy feels firm, turn over and allow to dry 12 hours or overnight.
  • Store in airtight container.
  • Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
