Ingredients
- 1 or 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 medium onion
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar or Velveeta cheese
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 to 10 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Brown hamburger with onion.
- Drain grease if necessary.
- Add oregano, salt, pepper, soup and tomato sauce.
- Turn down low to simmer.
- Cook noodles as directed.
- Drain and add to meat mixture or layer in casserole.
- Top with cheese and bake at 350° until cheese melts but not browned.
- Should be bubbly.
- This freezes well, also.
