Ingredients

  • 4 Fileted Catfish
  • 1 Old Bay seafood seasoning
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tbsp salt

Method

  • Sprinkle Old Bay all over fish (both sides)
  • Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl to create dry mix.
  • Coat fish in dry mix.
  • Fry in pan of oil on heat slightly higher than medium.
  • Cook on each side for 3-6 minutes depending on thickness of fish.
  • (I used olive oil and used enough oil to cover only half of the fish.)
  • Place fish on paper towels in a plate or pan to drain excess oil.
