Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese Filling
  • 2 (5 1/2 oz. each) pkg. Martha White Bix-Mix
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. (5 1/3 Tbsp.) butter or margarine, melted
  • Confectioners Glaze

Method

  • Preheat oven to 450°. Lightly grease one large or two medium baking sheets.
  • Prepare Cream Cheese Filling as directed; set aside.
  • Stir together biscuit mix and sugar in mixing bowl. Stir in milk and butter until blended.
  • Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet to form 16 mounds.
  • Make a shallow well in center of each mound using the back of a spoon. Place one heaping tablespoonful of Cream Cheese Filling into each well. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Drizzle with Confectioners Glaze. Best served warm. Makes 16 pastries.
