Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 cans tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream

Method

  • Brown and drain beef.
  • Add tomato sauce, tomatoes (chopped or blended) and sugar to meat.
  • Simmer for 10 or 15 minutes.
  • Cook noodles; drain.
  • Mix the cream cheese, 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese, sour cream and onion soup mix.
  • Fold into noodles.
  • Layer noodles and meat mixture in a large casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese on top (grated Parmesan cheese can always be used).
  • Bake at 350° until cheese is melted.
