Ingredients
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. light Karo syrup
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3 qt. popped corn (2/3 to 1 c. unpopped)
Method
- In a microwavable 3 quart dish, combine margarine, brown sugar and Karo syrup.
- Microwave on High for 5 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Stir in soda.
- Place popped popcorn in brown paper bag. Pour brown sugar mixture over popcorn.
- Stir or shake to coat popcorn.
- Put bag in microwave and cook on High 1 minute.
- Stir. Cook on High another minute.
- Shake and serve.
