Ingredients

  • 1 lb. loaf frozen bread dough
  • 4 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Let frozen dough thaw until pliable on lightly floured board. Roll dough out to a 10 x 12-inch rectangle.
  • Spread dough with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
  • Mix cinnamon, sugar, raisins and nuts. Set aside 2 tablespoons of mixture for later use.
  • Sprinkle mixture over dough.
  • Roll dough like a jelly roll and cut into 12 equal slices.
  • Place slices in a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
  • Brush tops with 1 tablespoon melted butter and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon mixture.
  • Let rise until rolls have doubled in size.
  • Bake in 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Remove from pan immediately and brush with remaining butter.
