- 5 or 6 chicken breasts, skinned and boned
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds (optional)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 cylinder Ritz crackers, crushed (save some for top of casserole)
- 5 to 6 pats butter
Method
- Cook chicken until tender; tear into small pieces.
- Combine chicken, sour cream, poppy seeds, soups and crackers, saving some of the crackers for the top of casserole.
- Mix well pour into baking dish; sprinkle reserved crackers over top and put pats of butter on crackers.
- Bake in 350° for 45 minutes.
- Serve with salad.
