Ingredients

  • 5 or 6 chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cylinder Ritz crackers, crushed (save some for top of casserole)
  • 5 to 6 pats butter

Method

  • Cook chicken until tender; tear into small pieces.
  • Combine chicken, sour cream, poppy seeds, soups and crackers, saving some of the crackers for the top of casserole.
  • Mix well pour into baking dish; sprinkle reserved crackers over top and put pats of butter on crackers.
  • Bake in 350° for 45 minutes.
  • Serve with salad.
