Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 4 packages cream cheese 8 ounces
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • cherry pie filling

Method

  • Preheat oven 325 degrees
  • Mix graham cracker crumbs with sugar and melted butter.
  • Press cracker mixture into bottom of a spring form pan.
  • In a mixer bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together until lumps are gone.
  • Add in eggs, one egg at a time. Beat well between eggs.
  • Pour into the spring form pan, over crumbs base.
  • Bake 55 minutes or until the center of the cheesecake is set.
  • Remove from oven and cool for 15 minutes.
  • Run knife around the edge of pan to loosen crust from sides.
  • Release the spring form and cool completely.
  • Refrigerate cheesecake for 4 hours.
  • Before serving spread cherry pie filling over the cheese cake.
