Ingredients
- 6 c. granulated sugar
- 3 c. canned milk
- 1 c. Karo
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 lb. English walnuts, shelled
Method
- Mix sugar, milk and Karo until well blended.
- Cook to soft ball stage, stirring constantly with wooden spoon.
- Remove from heat. Beat by hand or with electric mixer until mixture cools.
- Add fruits and nuts.
- Pour into pan lightly greased with butter.
- Cut into squares when candy begins to get firm.
- Store in refrigerator.
